Tom bought his K20 brand new in 1984. When the time came to restore it, he pulled in Josh to help with the project.

“This is a stock truck that I used to pull trailers with,” Tom said “It just got refreshed, this young man did all the work.”

Check out some parts for this truck:

  1. Neat. I have a 1977 K-20 Suburban I purchased new in S. Calif. Currently it has been parked in my garage up here in WA state the past 15 – 20 years. It has 87,000 miles on it. No wrecks, body is straight and I ordered it with the the heavy duty Trailering pkg. Do you carry parts for my vehicle as I am getting the “refresh bug” for this vehicle? I know some part houses have info on parts that wear out or are needed for upgrades, etc. Do you maintain any kind records like this? Look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks – Bob

  2. Tom, I just bought a SoCal 78′, C10, short box, small block, 4 spd manual, stepside that I would like to “freshen up”. Because it’s lived entirely in SoCal until recently there is no rust so I’m fortunate that it will be a lot of mechanical rehab like drivetrain, suspension, engine/trans, rear end, etd. The wood flooring ( excellent original but)…… oak, walnut, etc calls. I’m interested in what engine/drive train you have and what did to it and the entire drivetrain? I might lower it a smidge but maybe not. It looks like yours is stock suspension? Thanks, I’m 85 years young going on 35……………LOL Merrill Oaks
