Erich’s deep blue ‘98 Chevy Silverado was an eye-catcher at the C10 Nationals in Fort Worth, Texas.

“I bought it off my brother actually,” Erich said. “I tore it apart and fixed it up. Painted it myself and did all the bodywork, and LS swapped it. It was a lot of fun.”

Since Erich paints for a living, he enjoyed that process of restoration.

“But the challenging part was the bodywork,” he said. “I want it straight as can be and that takes time and patience.”

The C10 Nationals features thousands of trucks between its two shows — now three. Chevy truck owners and aficionados can put their trucks to the test in performance and looks. Events like autocross, a burnout contest and drag racing great ways to rev your engine.

And of course, there are tons of awards for the look of your truck, all broken down by year as well.

The C10 Nationals takes place in Fort Worth, Texas; May 12-13, Salt Lake City, Utah; June 23-24, and Nashville Tennessee; Sept. 29-30.
